President Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed an Additional Measures to Boost Exports and Ensure Competitiveness of Domestic Goods in Foreign Markets Decree.

Uzbek Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov today hosted the delegation of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) led by president Serdar Çam, the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.

Monitors from the International Labour Organization (ILO) have found that "the systematic use of child labour in Uzbekistan’s cotton harvest has come to an end over the past few years and that concrete measures to completely end the use of forced labour are being implemented."

Kyrgyzstan has decided to return to Uzbekistan for temporary use the plots of land in Issyk-Kul province where four resorts (Golden Sands, Rohat-NBU, Dilorom, Buston) are located. Uzbekistan’s Prosecutor Office and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU), Jahon said. Murotjon Azimov, First deputy prosecutor general of Uzbekistan signed the MoU on behalf of the Office as part of the US visit on December 4.

Uzbekistan delegation led by the Senate Chairman, Nigmatilla Yuldashev will attend the extraordinary summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation which will be held today in Istanbul, Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.

Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov yesterday hosted Pavol Ivan, who is completing his tenure as Ambassador of Slovakia to Uzbekistan, the ministry said in a statement.

Bakhodir Gaibnazarov has been appointed mayor of Tashkent’s Shaykhantahur district. Earlier, he was the mayor of Almazar district, a source in the district mayor’s office said.

Uzbek Foreign Minister delegation led by Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov yesterday met with the Turkmen Deputy PM/ Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov in Ashgabat, the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev had a telephone conversation with the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan  Monday, the Uzbek Presidency website said.
