Japan donated 201.6 thousand doses of AstraZeneca vaccine to Uzbekistan on March 17, the Ministry of Health reported.
The delivery brought the total score of doses of vaccines received free of charge or purchased to 61.47 million. This figure includes 41.9 million doses of ZF-UZ-VAC2001, over 8.5 million doses of Moderna, over 4.6 million doses of Pfizer/BioNTech, 2.6 million doses of AstraZeneca, over 1.9 million doses of Sinovac, 1.3 million doses of Sputnik V and 343.3 thousand doses of Sputnik Light.
To date, 47.3 million doses have been administered in the immunization process. According to the Ministry of Health, 73.9% Uzbek adults have been fully vaccinated, while 92.2% received at least one dose.
The country now has more than 14.1 million doses of vaccines against COVID-19.
