Bus service between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan will be resumed from March 16, 2022, the Ministry of Transport said on Monday.
Negotiations are also underway to launch transit bus service through Kazakhstan to the Russian Federation and the Kyrgyz Republic.
From March 16, 2022, the companies plan to launch Tashkent-Nursultan, Tashkent-Almaty, Tashkent-Kyzylorda, Tashkent-Turkestan, Tashkent-Irgeli, Chirchik-Shymkent, Chirchik-Almaty bus services.
International bus services between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan were suspended on March 16, 2020 due to a coronavirus pandemic.
