The Women’s Committee of Uzbekistan and UNDP launched a joint project “Empowering Women to Participate in Public Administration and Enhance Their Activity in Social and Economic Life”.

Three girls from the same family in Tashkent- Munisa, 7, Mukhlisa, 6 and Mohira, 4 died on November 8 in a hospital, presumably after poisoning with substances of unknown etiology. Relatives said that the girls felt unwell after eating kebab in a restaurant, their father then bought medicine in nearby pharmacy and the girls presumably died from this drug.
