Plane of the Turkish AnadoluJet landed at the Tashkent airport today at 5:11 AM, launching Ankara to Tashkent flight. The Boeing 737-800, which carried 160 passengers to Uzbekistan, was greeted with a water arch, the Uzbekistan Airports reported.
The crew and passengers were greeted by the Turkish Ambassador to Uzbekistan, representatives of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Ministry of Transport, as well as the management of Uzbekistan Airports.
Now more than 60 flights are operated between Uzbekistan and Turkey weekly, including from Tashkent, Samarkand, Ferghana, Urgench and Bukhara to Istanbul.
