The E-visa.gov.uz will be unavailable for 24 hours from 9 AM Tashkent time (GMT +5) on March 13 due to system maintenance works, the Foreign Ministry said.

Uzbekistan Airways has received one of the two Airbus A320 Neo aircrafts it had ordered, the carrier said in a statement. The A320 Neos accommodate 150 passengers in two classes (business class - 12, economy class - 138). A branch of the I.M. Sechenov First Moscow Medical University will open in Uzbekistan as of the 2019/2020 academic year. On March 4, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed the Ratification of the International Labor Organization Convention No. 144 on Tripartite Consultations to Promote the Application of International Labor Standards (Geneva, June 21, 1976) Bill into Law. The Bill was passed by the Legislative Chamber on February 5 and approved by the Senate on February 28.
