Shavkat Mirziyoyev familiariazed himself with the improved project of Tashkent City business district that will be located on 80 ha between Alisher Navoi, Almazar, Islam Karimov and Furqat streets, the President’s press service said.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev, visiting the construction site of Tashkent City on October 28 of this year, discussed the objectives, organizational and financial issues, gave recommendations on further improvement of the project, speeding up the construction.
A management company was established under the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan which will be responsible for the construction and engaging local and foreign investors for the project implementation.
He visited the project management office, where he got acquainted with new solutions that are being implemented, met with investors, foreign contractors and asked about their opinion.
The district will be built in two phases over the next four years.
The Head of our state noted that the buildings to be hosted by Tashkent City should “match the overall concept of the district and harmonize with each other”.
