The total volume of construction work completed across Uzbekistan reached 192 trillion soums in the first half of 2026, the National Statistics Agency said in a report.
A provincial breakdown of the data shows that Tashkent city recorded the highest volume of activity, with construction projects in the capital accounting for 61.2 trillion soums.
Tashkent province followed with 18.8 trillion soums, while Fergana province and Bukhara province registered construction volumes of 12.1 trillion soums and 10.7 trillion soums, respectively.
Additionally, construction output reached 9.9 trillion soums in Samarqand province, 9.4 trillion soums in Qashqadaryo province, and 9 trillion soums in Andijan province.
The data from the National Statistics Agency underscores a sustained, high-paced momentum in construction activity across the country's various provinces.
