President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev sent condolences message to the President of Mexico Enrique Peña Nieto, the Foreign Ministry said.
"It is with deep sorrow that I learned the sad news of the devastation following the terrible earthquake in Mexico, which led to many human deaths," the message says.
The Head of State expressed his sincere condolences and conveyed the words of sympathy and support to the entire Mexican people, as well as to the families and friends of the victims and the injured.
According to recent reports, the earthquake that occurred on Tuesday in southern Mexico killed about 290 people.
