Deputy Foreign Minister Olim Abdullaev met with the Chargé d'Affaires of the United Arab Emirates, Mohammed al-Zahiri.
According to the Foreign Ministry, the parties underscored the high level of bilateral relations based on mutual trust and respect, as well as work on the implementation of previously reached agreements.
During the meeting, as part of the discussion of migration issues, the parties reached an agreement on attracting skilled labour from Uzbekistan for the UAE jobs. They pointed the importance of an organized approach to labor migration, which would serve to increase the level of protection of the rights and interests of Uzbek citizens working abroad.
An agreement was also reached on further stepping up cooperation and implementation of projects aimed at mutually beneficial results.
