Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov visited the Embassy of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in Tashkent on Wednesday.

The Deputy Prime Minister of Turkey Tuğrul Türkeş will visit Uzbekistan on May 24-26, the Turkish Embassy to Uzbekistan reported.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on May 23 signed a decree appointing  Bahodir Begalov as chairman of the Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan replacing Botir Turaev.

On May 18, at  Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran Bahman Agharazi. The sides exchanged views on practical aspects of bilateral cooperation, including the outcomes of the 12th meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Forum held in Tashkent on May 11-12, 2017, in which Iran participated as an observer country of the SCO.

Uzbeks will be able to access Google sites faster now that Google Global Cache (GGC) service soon to be available in Uzbekistan, UzbekTelecom announced Wednesday after talks with a GGC delegation.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev accepted the invitation of the Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to pay a working visit to Turkmenistan on May 19-20, UzA said.
