Most nationals who arrived in Russia for employment in the period from January to September of this year were from Uzbekistan (3,054,180), Tajikistan (1,597,481), Kyrgyzstan (623,465), Armenia (298,801 people) and Azerbaijan (185,752), the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.

Additionally that the majority of foreigners who came to Russia for tourism purposes were from Belarus (30,526), Germany (16,369), Ukraine (15,293), the United Arab Emirates (12,414) and Kazakhstan (11,192).

According to statistics, most foreigners who came to Russia for the purpose of education were residents of Uzbekistan (59,233), Tajikistan (58,964), Kazakhstan (55,036), Turkmenistan (34,955 people) and Egypt (32,473).

In addition, for business purposes during this period most were citizens of China (11,235), Uzbekistan (10,389), Germany (10,320), Belarus (10,167) and Kazakhstan (9,889).
