Uzbekistan can expect largely clear skies this weekend, with only patchy cloud cover over the north and mountainous areas, and no significant precipitation, the national weather service, Uzhydromet, has reported. Brief rain showers are possible only in mountainous parts of the Fergana Valley.
On Saturday, daytime temperatures across most of the country will hold between 28 and 33 degrees Celsius, climbing as high as 35 degrees in the south, while the Fergana Valley will see cooler readings of 23 to 28 degrees. Overnight and early-morning lows will generally range from 13 to 18 degrees.
Temperatures are expected to rise by another 2 to 3 degrees on Sunday.
In Tashkent, skies will remain mostly clear with no rain expected. Daytime highs are forecast at 30 to 32 degrees on Saturday, rising to 32 to 34 degrees on Sunday, with easterly winds of 5 to 10 meters per second and overnight lows of 16 to 18 degrees.
