On December 1 the Uzbek Foreign Minister, Abdulaziz Kamilov received the Turkish Ambassador H.E. Namık Güner Erpul, who is wrapping up his diplomatic posting in Uzbekistan, a statement of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.

In recognition of the Ambassador’s service, the Minister praised his contribution to the expansion of mutually beneficial Uzbek-Turkish relations in political, trade-economic, cultural-humanitarian and other areas.

It was stressed that the agreements reached during the visit of the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to Uzbekistan on November 17-18 and the talks at the highest level testify of the mutual interest in developing cooperation.

Namık Güner Erpul expressed gratitude to the Minister for the support aimed at successful diplomatic service in Uzbekistan.
