Early voting for the Presidential elections has started in Uzbekistan and will end on December 2 in line with the Law on Presidential Elections.
In accordance with Article 31 of the Law on Presidential Elections, a voter who will be absent on election day has the right to vote early.
According to the decision of the district election commission, early voting begins ten days before the Election day and ends one day before. Voters can cast their ballot at polling stations from 9.00 am to 18.00 pm.
For early voting a voter shall fill out an application, specifying the reasons for early voting (vacation, business trip, travel abroad, etc.), without providing proof, following which he shall receive a ballot from local election commission.
