On November 21 at the Uzbek Foreign Ministry was held a meeting with the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates, Muhammad Harib Birid Al Muhayribi.
During the meeting was held the signing of the Protocol on exchange of instruments of ratification of bilateral agreements between Uzbekistan and the United Arab Emirates.
According to the Uzbek Foreign Ministry's press service, the document includes the Agreement on Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters, the Extradition Agreement and the Agreement on Transfer of Sentenced Persons for further sentence serving.
These agreements will come into force in 30 days after the exchange of instruments of ratification, i. e. on 21 December this year.
