On October 18, the Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov met with his Turkish counterpart Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, who arrived in Tashkent to attend the 43rd session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
The ministers discussed the current state of bilateral relations, opening new prospects for their sustainable development and other issues of mutual interest. They exchanged views on the affairs of the agenda of the 43rd Session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers and other international and regional issues.
In the meeting was also present the Turkish Ambassador to Uzbekistan Namik Güner Erpul.
