The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), the Government of Uzbekistan, and GIZ held a business forum today in Samarkand, Uzbekistan to support regional horticulture export promotion efforts and competition development to boost economic growth in Central Asia.

June 12-13, 2017 Zurich (Switzerland) will host an Uzbekistan-Switzerland business forum and matchmaking session with large businesses of the two countries aimed at expanding and intensifying trade and economic ties between the two countries.

Uzbekistan-China Business Forum opened today in Tashkent’s International Business Center. The Chinese side is represented by large design and contractor groups specializing in metallurgy, mining, power, infrastructure construction, transport, telecommunications, environmental protection and others. The Uzbek Embassy together with the South Korean Chamber of Commerce organized a business seminar in Seoul, South Korea, which was attended by representatives of 40 Korean companies, Jahon IA reported.
