The regulation.gov.uz portal has posted a draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers "On the establishment of the International School of Finance and Technology (ISFT)". The initiator of the project was the State Inspectorate for Quality Control of Education under the Cabinet.
The proposal of the State Inspectorate, the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Education, the governor’s office of Tashkent province and the limited liability company "International School of Finance Technology and Science" to establish the University of the International School of Finance and Technology (ISFT) may be approved.
The main goals and areas of the university's activity are follows:
- Training of personnel in the field of international accounting and auditing, business management, financial analysis, financial risk management, and in other areas, taking into account the needs of the real sectors of the economy;
- Establishing cooperation with foreign universities and research institutions, with the engaging of qualified foreign specialists, including expatriates;
- Implementation of advanced training programs for employees of state and other enterprises of Uzbekistan, exchange of experience based on cooperation with foreign advanced research institutions;
- Implementation of modern pedagogical and ICTs in the educational process;
- Research activities.
The university will be located in Kibray district of Tashkent province.
