Unidentified people placed a pig's head at the foot of the Islam Karimov statue in Moscow, leaving a message next to it.
"This is a warning to the people of other faiths who have inundated our capital and turned it into a garbage dump. The patience of the Russians is running out. We will not allow you to establish your own laws and rules in Moscow and connect with Russian women! Russia is for Russians," the message reads.
The act was aimed to express discontent with labor migrants.
The Russian Foreign Ministry and police have not yet commented on the incident.
