Today, the President Shavkat Mirziyoyev spoke to the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko over the telephone. At the beginning of the conversation, Shavkat Mirziyoyev reportedly warmly congratulated the president of Belarus on his anniversary, wishing him good health and great success, well-being and prosperity to the friendly Belarusian people.
While, Alexander Lukashenko sincerely congratulated the leader and the multinational people of Uzbekistan on the upcoming Independence Day, addressing wishes for peace, sustainable development and progress.
During the conversation, the parties discussed the progress of the agreements reached during the visit of the President of Belarus to Uzbekistan on February 7-9 this year.
They highly valued the outcomes of the recent visit to Uzbekistan of the delegation headed by the Chairperson of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Natalia Kochanova.
They also emphasized the importance of accelerating the preparation and implementation of joint industrial cooperation projects, as well as expanding cultural and humanitarian exchanges.
