As part of the visit of Uzbekistan delegation to Singapore, the Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade Laziz Qudratov held talks with Singapore’s Minister of Trade and Industry Gan Kim Yong.

Business forum was held on this day which was attended by over 200 executives of major firms of the two countries. 23 bilateral agreements was signed the forum, covering a wide range of priorities for the development of cooperation between the two countries.

- We want as many enterprises as possible to know about Uzbekistan and its great potential. For this, we are ready to provide continuous support in attracting new investors to your country. Also, we can be a bridge for Uzbek goods to reach the markets of South-East Asia and the entire Asia-Pacific region, said the Minister of Trade and Industry of Singapore.

Agreement signing ceremony was held after the meeting. While, an intergovernmental memorandum on the development of trade and economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Singapore as part of the state visit.

Also, it was agreed to adopt a number of agreements defining the establishment of the Uzbekistan-Singapore Chamber of Commerce and Industry and attracting Singapore’s experience to Uzbekistan in the development of business incubators.
