A ceremony of signing of a Cooperation Memorandum on the development of relations between the tourism associations of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan was held in the framework of the V Tashkent International Tourism Exhibition - "The World of Leisure".
From the Azerbaijani side, the Memorandum was signed by the head of the Azerbaijan Tourism Association, Nakhid Bagirov, from the Uzbek side the accord was signed by the head of the Tourism Association of Uzbekistan, Nabijan Kasimov.
The Memorandum foresees the exchange of information, cooperation in the field of tourism development, joint tours, joint activities aimed at the promotion of tourism, organization of mutual trips, promotion of health tourism and assistance in increasing the tourists flow.
