For the next two days, the world’s cotton industry leaders, textile companies and sales agents will gather in Tashkent for the XIII International Uzbek Cotton and Textile Fair.
The visitors will be able to familiarize themselves with the industry news and have an opportunity for networking and direct cooperation.
It is worth noting that the Cotton Fair’s popularity is growing every year, if in 2005 there were 170 attendees from 30 countries, this year the Fair is expected to host over 1,500 experts from 44 countries.
This year, the International Conference’s schedule includes 16 open and thematic sessions.
The fair is co-organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources, Academy of Sciences, JSC UzbekYengilsanoat, the Ministry of Foreign Trade, UzEX, the Sifat Center and other stakeholders.
In addition, this year the 76th Plenary Meeting of the International Cotton Advisory Committee (ICAC) will be held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan from October 24-28, 2017. The ICAC Plenary Meetings are attended by over 400 participants from the public and private sectors from over 40 countries.
