President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Baraka Meva Sanoat Service company in Chust District, the presidential press service.

The first ever Government Hour (equiv. of Question Time) in the history of the Uzbek parliament was held in the Legislative Chamber Tuesday. It addressed the issues of providing the public with clean drinking water and its rational use, as well as providing affordable and quality medicines to the population and medical institutions.

The two leaders accompanied by the first ladies visited the Poi Kalyan complex and the Kalyan mosque, and also familiarized themselves with the activities of the Islamic school in Mir Arab madrasah.

Kabul Berdiyev has been appointed chief of the Civil Protection Institute under the Ministry of Emergency Situations, replacing Zafar Turaev, who returned to the post of deputy chief of the institute, the ministry reported.
