The President Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree appointing Behzod Musayev as Minister of Health, to replace Abdukhakim Khadzhibaev, who moved to the Federation of Trade Unions.
The Legislative Chamber at the Nov 11 meeting approved Behzod Musayev for the post of Minister of Health.
Behzod Musayev had been serving as Deputy Prime Minister for Social Development since May 2020. Last summer, he temporarily (when the then Minister of Health Alisher Shadmanov was on treatment) served as the Minister of Health.
Behzod Musaev, 48, graduated from the Tashkent State Economic University majoring in economics and the Higher School of Business at the Academy of State and Social Construction under the President in business management (2004).
