On the morning of October 13, a batch of 200 thousand doses of Chinese Sinovac coronavirus vaccine, as well as 20 thousand Favipiravir drugs were delivered to Tashkent from Istanbul, the Ministry of Health said.
This is the sixth type of coronavirus vaccine to be used in Uzbekistan. The batch is donated by the Turkish government.
In total, Uzbekistan received or purchased over 28.67 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines. More than 22.72 million doses have been administered so far, with over 5.22 million people fully vaccinated.
