The Interior Ministry has placed the former vice-rector of the Tashkent State Economic University Nodir Idiev on the wanted list. He was charged under the Fraud on an especially large scale and the Official forgery committed repeatedly or by a dangerous repeat offender of the Criminal Code. In legal meaning, an especially large size represents an amount equal to 500 or more basic values (135 million soums or more, or US$ 12 thousand).
Nodir Idiev previously worked as the vice-rector of TSUE in charge of finance and economics.
According to the university, the former vice-rector went on vacation in July and has not since returned, and in August he was placed on the wanted list.
