The Uzbek Ambassador to Kabul, Yodgorkhuja Shadmanov, met with the Foreign Minister Maulavi Amir Khan Mottaqi of Afghanistan in the caretaker government.
The parties discussed the bilateral ties, as well as the reconstruction of the airport in Mazar-i-Sharif and the resumption of flights between Tashkent and Kabul. There was a positive conversation about the start of flights.
It also indicates that Mottaki thanked the head of the Uzbek diplomatic mission in Afghanistan and "called on further enhancing the bilateral ties" between the countries.
