The Ministry of Health reported of a daily 597 people diagnosed with coronavirus in Uzbekistan yesterday. "As of September 6, 2021, the number of registered coronavirus infections in Uzbekistan stands at 161,108 (+597)," the report said.
For the first time since July 19, the number of daily cases in Uzbekistan was less than 600, while 50 days ago 585 new cases were registered. Prior to that, the number of daily cases for four days in a row ranged from 600 to 700, the day before 640 people were diagnosed with coronavirus.
Seven patients died yesterday, bringing the total official number of deaths 1,125.
