The procedure that related to the stay of foreign nationals in Uzbekistan under lockdown conditions in effect since September last year will be canceled from September 10. The government of Uzbekistan issued a decree on this on August 30.
Due to the pandemic, administrative measures were not applied for violating the rules of stay until the end of the lockdown period in relation to foreign nationals whose temporary stay in the quarantine zone has expired, as well as that of homeowners and officials who received them.
The above procedure is canceled. “Starting from September 10, we ask citizens of foreign states, as well as individuals and legal entities who have invited them, to abide by the rules for the stay of foreigners in Uzbekistan, to renew the temporary registration. Citizens of foreign states or stateless persons with expired visas must leave the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan, ”said Sanzhar Qosimov, head of the Immigration team of the Tashkent City Police Department.
