The government meeting on preparations for the meeting of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev with business executives was held on August 9, the presidential press service said in a statement.
To date, more than 13.5 thousand proposals and opinions have been received from executives. More than half of 12 thousand issues raised by them have already been resolved, the statement added.
Judging by the requests, the most pressing problem of businesses is interest rates and short repayment term of loans. The loans issues accounted for 42% of letters, the statement underscored.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev gave instructions to draw long-term resources to the economy and reduce the degree of its dollarization.
The second most pressing issue is access to land and buildings. Such requests made up 21%. Shavkat Mirziyoyev instructed to send working groups to the provinces and form a list of land plots and buildings that will be put up for auction from September 1.
Reportedly, the receipt of about 1000 letters on legal protection of private property, obtaining licenses and permits indicates that systemic problems persist in these areas. The study of the letters also shows that there are many problems related to the infrastructure.
The meeting also analyzed issues related to tax and customs spheres, the use of benefits and preferences.
As reported earlier, the president announced he would conduct an open dialogue with business executives. It is expected that the meeting will discuss the problems of executives, their solutions, proposals and initiatives to improve the business environment in the country.
