Uzbekistan will receive 4.82 million doses of vaccines in the coming months, the MP of the Legislative Chamber Doniyor Ganiev said.
According to him, on July 20-25, it is planned to accept the delivery of 4 million doses of the Chinese-Uzbek vaccine ZF-UZ-VAC2001.
In addition, 160,000 doses of the Russian Sputnik V are due in August.
In August-September, as part of the COVAX program, Uzbekistan will receive 660 thousand doses of one of the vaccines recognized by the World Health Organization – either AstraZeneca or Moderna.
7.44 million doses of vaccines have been accepted as of July 5, of which 5.1 million have been used to date.
