On July 13, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with a presentation on new digital technologies, the presidential press service said in a statement.
Reportedly, currently 253 types of services are provided through the Unified portal of interactive state services. This year it is planned to introduce 60 more and simplify the provision of over 50 services.
In line with the "Digital Uzbekistan - 2030" strategy, programs for digital transformation of provinces and industries for 2020-2022 are being implemented. 443 projects have been developed by industry, of which 194 have been implemented to date. Of the 1643 projects provided for by provincial programs, 1,172 have been completed.
“The introduction of the contract management information system at Uztransgaz has reduced costs by 30 billion soums. The introduction of a payment system for 360 types of state duties through the Unified Billing System has saved 24 billion soums,” the statement says.
In general, in the first half of the year, the volume of services provided in the digital economy topped 7.2 trillion soums, the export of computer programming services - 17.5 million dollars.
“However, there are industries and provinces in which this work is proceeding at a slow pace. The corresponding rating shows that in 65 organizations, 116 districts and cities, the digitalization process is not organized at the proper level,” the statement added.
At the presentation, the president instructed to expedite projects and expand the coverage of e-services.
“The work done in recent years has really yielded results, services have become more convenient and closer to people. But digital technologies are changing every day, new opportunities are opening up. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a "roadmap" for implementing new software products in each ministry, state body and province, "said Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
He pointed to the possibility of bringing the volume of services to the digital economy up to 16 trillion soums, and the export of computer software - up to 40 million dollars.
The President stressed that it is necessary to increase the types of government services that are provided through mobile apps to 100. This is planned to be done through the introduction of services for obtaining information regarding the utilities, cadastral, tax, customs, pension security and labor relations.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev also instructed the responsible persons to create portals of ministers, governors, mayors and regularly analyze the information posted on them.
