The Tax Committee announced the launch of the virtual assistant DavrOn based on artificial intelligence (AI), the committee’s press service said.
The AI assistant is stationed at www.ai.soliq.uz and provides support to taxpayers around the clock.
“DavrOn is a friendly and professional advisor, providing essential information and personalized advice on tax and tax matters. The virtual assistant maintains a polite tone of communication in Uzbek, Russian and English languages,” the message says.
According to the committee, the assistant's training took three months and is ongoing. For this purpose, a knowledge base was created containing over 11 million characters, including the Tax Code, decrees of the President and the Cabinet of Ministers, clarifications and orders, regulatory and instructional documents, as well as answers to frequently asked questions to the tax service call center regarding online -CCP and ESF, electronic digital signature, electronic reports (services) and others.
The Tax Committee Virtual Assistant is the third service that uses artificial intelligence technologies.
In 2022, service for remote identification of taxpayers, Face-ID, was developed and implemented. The service's audience currently is at over 6 million taxpayers - users of the Soliq mobile app. For Face-ID to work, a model was developed and trained to determine that the identification at the moment is actually carried out by a living person, and not using his photograph.
Another AI service is used in tax administration—a truck monitoring system. The computer vision model uses images from a special camera to distinguish trucks from other equipment in a stream. Next, the system recognizes whether the car is carrying cargo or is moving empty (without cargo), and transmits the received information for further analysis.
The Tax Committee sees great potential in the use of artificial intelligence technologies to improve the efficiency of tax administration, as well as create additional convenience for taxpayers.
