A meeting was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with the heads of diplomatic missions of the UAE, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Oman.
“Exchanged views on the situation in the Middle East. We expressed concern over developments posing a threat to regional security and emphasized the importance of preventing further escalation, as well as resolving all conflicts through diplomatic means and in accordance with the norms of international law, the Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov said on his Telegram channel.”
“We also discussed issues related to further advancing bilateral and multilateral relations between Uzbekistan and the Gulf Arab states, as well as expanding cooperation within the framework of the “Central Asia – Gulf Cooperation Council” format”, he concluded.
