The content of fine suspended particles PM2.5 in Tashkent city at 8:00 on January 11 did not change much compared to the previous day topping 85.5 μg/m3, Uzhydromet reported. This is higher than the recommendations of the World Health Organization (5 μg/m3) by 17 times (as of 20:00 pm it was 19.4 times).
Reportedly there is a smell of burning leaves in the city.
In the rating of the IQAir service, the Uzbek capital at the time of publication was in 11th place (in the evening - 8th). The service recommends to avoid staying outdoors, to wear a mask, not to open windows, and using an air purifier, if available.
The content of PM10 particles (191.4 µg/m3, permissible concentration - 500 µg/m3) and carbon monoxide (0.8 mg/m3, maximum permissible concentration - 5 mg/m3) was within normal limits.
