There is a saying in Uzbekistan that guests can only leave their host’s house after palov has been offered. Palov is a traditional dish made and shared throughout rural and urban communities of Uzbekistan.
Young Uzbek designers’ show- #beyoung was held on November 23 in Kamolot Palace as part of the Tashkent fashion week. Today’s show saw 44 collections of 76 designers selected from 200 candidates from among students and young designers.
This year, the Development Fund of material and technical base of higher education institutions at the Ministry of Finance has allocated 355.6 billion soums, with these funds it is planned to overhaul 14 universities, the website of the Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan said.

The exhibition, co-organized by the Uzbek Embassy in Ankara with the City of Istanbul, features the paintings of Uzbek artists, in different genres - landscapes, naturemortes and portraits, and have caused genuine interest of the Turkish public.
