Football clubs of Uzbekistan obliged to pay off debts to players and coaches. The Football Player Status and Transfer Committee under the Uzbekistan Football Association conducted a probe into of the Uzbek football clubs' compliance with contractual obligations in order to avoid FIFA sanctions.
The probe found that Navbahor Lochinlari club had not been paying wages to the coach, players of the first and women's teams, as well as the futsal team.
Also, Neftchi FC had not paid wages to the first and women's teams players, while Sogdiana had not paid to the first team. In addition, Sogdiana has not paid Lokomotiv under the transfer agreement.
The Jizzakh Zvezda Boston club, playing in the First League, had been failing to pay wages to its players for several months.
The Committee set the deadline of February 14 to repay all debts.
