The ceremony of exchanging signed bilateral accords took place at the end of the talks between the President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of China Xi Jinping in Beijing.
Including:
– Cooperation program for linking the Uzbekistan-2030 Strategy and the One Belt And Road initiative;
– Agreement on reciprocal Cultural Centers;
– Agreement on cooperation in the area of medical services.
In addition, the following agreements were also signed during the visit:
– Designing phase 2 of project for supply of dredging vessels to Uzbekistan;
– Technical and economic cooperation;
– Cooperation in conformity assessment;
– Phytosanitary requirements for exports of melons and almonds from Uzbekistan to China;
– Cooperation in peaceful use of space sciences, technologies and results of space activities;
– Cooperation in anti-trust policies;
– Strengthening cooperation in human resources development;
– Strengthening cooperation in digital economy;
– Establishment of partnership relations between the Samarkand province and the city of Tianjin;
– Cooperation between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade.
In addition to the existing branches of Chinese universities, it is planned to open a branch of the Beijing Institute of Technology.
