The International Bank of Azerbaijan (ABB, Azərbaycan Beynəlxalq Bankı) has acquired a controlling 51% stake in Davr Bank for 1.646 trillion soums, or roughly $140 million, the Tashkent Republican Stock Exchange said in its report.
According to the exchange, the deal was completed today, on September 10 through a series of six consecutive transactions. ABB purchased a total of 51 million ordinary shares at a uniform price of 32,281.28 soums apiece.
News that Azerbaijan's ABB planned to acquire a 51% stake in Davr Bank first surfaced in May 2026. On August 23, the International Bank of Azerbaijan announced it had completed the acquisition.
According to the Unified State Register of Enterprises and Organizations, Davr Bank, a private joint-stock commercial bank, was registered on September 29, 2001, and has a charter capital of 500 billion soums.
