GDP growth per capita this year slowed down by 1.7% to the same period last year. According to the State Statistics Committee, per capita GDP grew by 3.6% in January-September 2022.

This figure rose by 5.3% in the corresponding period of 2021. Thus, per capita GDP growth this year was slower by 1.7% compared to the same period last year.

Growth (shrinking) rates of GDP per capita by years:

  • January-September 2018 - 3.8%;
  • January-September 2019 - 3.7%;
  • January-September 2020 - -1.4%;
  • January-September 2021 - 5.3%;
  • January-September 2022 - 3.6%.
