The Tashkent Spring international opera and ballet festival will be held at the Alisher Navoi State Academic Theater from April 7 to 28. This festival has been held in the capital for 17 years.

On the initiative of the Italian Embassy in Uzbekistan, the festival will be attended by professor of the Milan Conservatory, conductor of the Gioachino Rossini Symphony Orchestra Daniel Agiman, opera soloists Valentino Boi and Paolo Lardizzione.

Among the foreign guests are soloists of opera and ballet theaters in Germany, Georgia, and Kazakhstan, but the largest number of participants are from Russia. During the festival, artists from the Mariinsky and Bolshoi Theaters, Helikon Opera and Novaya Opera will feature on the Tashkent stage.

April 12 - Un ballo in maschera opera, Giuseppe Verdi.

April 14 –La Bohème opera, Giacomo Puccini.

April 18 – ballet Swan Lake, Pyotr Tchaikovsky.

April 20 – opera Tosca, Giacomo Puccini.

April 21 –Rigoletto opera, Giuseppe Verdi.

April 24 - Lady of the Camellias ballet, Giuseppe Verdi, Pedro Mascagni.

April 26 –Giselle ballet, Adolphe Adam.

April 28 –La Traviata opera, Giuseppe Verdi.
