Héctor Cúper announced Uzbekistan squad for the training camp in Brisbane, Australia in the period from November 11 to 21 where the team will play two friendly matches against Lebanon on November 15 and Korea Republic on November 20.

Tashkent will host two major tournaments under the auspices of the International Fencing Federation, the National Olympic Committee said.

Olmaliq-based AGMK won Uzbekistan Cup at Istiqlol Stadium in Fergana Sunday, defeating Pakhtakor, 3-1. Yovan Jokic of AGMK opened the score on 16th minute to the game through a penalty kick. On the 54th minute, Ismael Goncalves equalized the score. However, after only three minutes AGMK took the lead again through Jovan Jokic’s sublime shot.

The Uzbekistan Football Association (UFA) and German kit maker JAKO have signed a 3-year contact for the kit supply for various age teams, the UFA first vice-president Umid Akhmadjonov said.

Uzbekistan football team will play a friendly match against Lebanon as part of the November training camp in Australia, head coach Héctor Cúper said.

To a question at the Uzbekistan-DPRK pre-match press conference whether Héctor Cúper was paying wages to the national team’s service staff, he replied:

Uzbekistan national team defeated the DPRK team in a friendly match at National stadium in Tashkent Saturday. Both goals were scored by Marat Bikmaev in the 37th and 91st minutes into the game.

Former Manchester United midfielder and Russia international, Andrei Kanchelskis has been named the head coach of FC Navbakhor of Namangan city, replacing Ilhom Muminjanov, who had been at the helm since 2016. The club said he signed the contract until the end of the season with the option of extending for one more year.
