The National anti-coronavirus commission at a regular meeting discussed the "creating conditions for cultural and spiritual leisure, as well as recreation by relaxing lockdown restrictions, the Ministry of Health said on Monday.
On the recommendation of the relevant organizations, the commission issued a decision allowing from September 20 throughout Uzbekistan to conduct cultural and entertainment (theater, cinema, concerts), public events and gatherings both in the open air and in closed complexes.
The following restrictions have been established for holding mass events and meetings:
- employees of cultural and entertainment facilities and event organizers, as well as service personnel (except for those with contraindications to vaccination) must have a certificate with a QR code on vaccination with at least two doses of coronavirus vaccine (regardless of the manufacturer);
- visitors must wear medical masks, use antiseptics, and comply with body temperature testing and other important health and safety requirements.
At the same time, the administration of the facilities is recommended to admit only visitors who have a certificate with vaccination QR code (except for those who have contraindications).
As of September 19, 3.669 million people have been fully vaccinated against coronavirus in Uzbekistan. 10.4 million received at least one dose of vaccine, with a total of 18.273 million doses used.
