At the Critical Minerals Ministerial in Washington, the Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov together with the Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau signed the Memorandum of Understanding between the Governments of Uzbekistan and the United States of America for Securing of Supply in the Mining and Processing of Critical Minerals and Rare Earths, the minister Saidov announced on his Telegram account.
“We view critical minerals not only as an economic opportunity, but also as an area for responsible partnership and long-term development”, he added.
Uzbek delegation at the Ministerial reiterated its commitment to deepening cooperation in the field of critical minerals, developing the industry, and supporting global efforts toward sustainable development and clean energy.
