The Prosecutor General’s Office proposed holding mandatory short-term conduct ethics courses for senior officials of state bodies and organizations, it said in the draft resolution of the government.

Furing courses senior officials will get familiar with basic ethical concepts, features of professional ethics, ways of resolving conflict situations, etiquette.

The purpose of the courses is reportedly to teach necessary knowledge, skills and abilities regarding ethics of official conduct, resolving conflicts of interest and other areas of anti-corruption.

The resolution proposed that employees take courses no later than three months after being hired, while they will be paid the average salary during the period of courses.

Training will be free and can be conducted in person or online, with curricula and programs to be developed by the Academy of the Prosecutor General.
