Starting August 1, 2026, a new incentive system will be deployed to reward individuals who submit photo or video evidence of safety violations at hazardous production facilities and technical installations. This new mechanism is designed to tighten industrial safety and ensure the timely detection of violations.
Under the new regulations, individuals can report compliance breaches involving hazardous production sites and technical equipment by submitting photos and/or videos directly to the Committee for Industrial, Radiation, and Nuclear Safety.
The competent authority will review the submitted materials in accordance with established procedures. If the violation is verified, the individuals who helped uncover it will receive a financial reward.
This initiative is expected to ensure stricter adherence to safety regulations at high-risk industrial sites, prevent potential accidents and mishaps, and significantly boost public oversight.
Experts believe that involving individuals in this process will foster effective public monitoring over safety standards. It will also improve early detection rates, making it easier to mitigate hazards before they escalate.
The new regulations will officially take effect on August 1, 2026.
