Two units of the main large-sized process equipment weighing 550 and 350 tons each have arrived in Uzbekistan for Uzbekistan GTL project in Kashkadarya province, the Ministry of Energy said.
The Kashkadarya province bound equipment. departed from the Republic of Korea has crossed several countries, having traveled several thousand kilometers through sea routes and main logistics routes to Uzbekistan.
These equipment will be used in the synthetic liquid plant. To convert synthesis gas (methane + oxygen) into synthetic liquid fuel through a chain of physic-chemical sequences and technological processes.
Now, the GTL project’s overall construction progress surpassed 71%, with over 5 thousand workers, builders and engineers mobilized and more than 500 units of construction and special equipment.
In total, more than 11 thousand units of process equipment are being manufactured for the Uzbekistan GTL at more than 129 plants in 24 countries.
More than 116 sets of high-tech equipment have been delivered to the construction site, with installation works underway. While, 153 sets have already been shipped by manufacturers and are on their way to Uzbekistan.
