As a part of its strategy to accompany international clients into new and attractive markets, SCHNEIDER GROUP is opening an office in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan. The country’s authorities are displaying considerable efforts to create an investor-friendly environment, and business opportunities in the country are plenty in a variety of fields, from textile production to pharmaceutics, the company said in a statement.

On September 7th, SCHNEIDER GROUP will open a permanent office in Tashkent. Uzbekistan is located on the new Silk Road and present interesting investment possibilities on the route between Asia and Europe, as the new government has set the liberalization of the economy and creation of a favourable business environment for foreign investors as priority goals.

Indeed, a comprehensive set of reforms is being implemented in a wide range of fields (currency conversion, financial, law, tax etc.). All of them aim at fulfilling the government’s ambitious plan to build a comfortable and stable environment for a prosperous development of businesses in the country.

The new SCHNEIDER GROUP office in Tashkent will be led by Nodir Ayupov, a former longstanding Head of International Relations in the national air carrier Uzbekistan Airways. “Ayupov’s in-depth knowledge of the market and wide network, combined with the company’s longstanding presence and experience on the markets of the CIS region countries, will allow us to provide our clients with the best quality of services”, explains Ulf Schneider, founder and Managing Partner of SCHNEIDER GROUP.
